Nation First International Development Asia (NFIDAsia) has announced today they have signed an MoU with Hisham Koh & Associates (HKA) to facilitate algal based farming products throughout rural Myanmar.

NFIDAsia plans to facilitate local algal farming by seamlessly integrating processes using the extremely beneficial climatic conditions in Myanmar. ”In short, algae is a good fit for agricultural futures and exports from Myanmar”, said NFIDAsia’s President Jonathan Pierce. NFIDAsia’s Director of Algal Farming, Dr. Ira Levine PhD, will spear head all Myanmar algae farming operations. David DuByne will act as Myanmar coordinator for both coastal and inland algal farms.

While algae is an exciting profitable source of biofuel or commercial animal feeds for aquaculture and agriculture, it can also be a sustainable source for a broad range of high dollar value products. From food, to chemicals as well as cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, multiple products from the same algal biomass are possible.

NFIDAsia is a licensed DICA services company facilitating many business opportunities with their Joint Venture partner company  Nile Industries Co Ltd. NFID’s team of professionals has a proven track record and combined experience of 115 years of farming, processing and marketing algae products. NFID partners with local and international clients to improve processes, streamline operations and improve the client's "Bottom Line." With a team of international water remediation, bottling, agriculture, communication and security experts, we are well suited to help bring emerging markets to the global stage.

HKA is headed by Hishamuddin Koh who holds a Master’s Degree in Agriculture Economics and Marketing from the University of Toronto, Canada. Hisham Koh has spent 21 years in Myanmar involved in consultancy, advisory works and also has worked very closely with various ministries in Myanmar. He has recently been appointed as Executive Advisor to CONFEXHUB of Malaysia and monitored Development of Policy Options in Myanmar sponsored by the UNDP.
